Bill is a 1983 Evans Scholar Graduate from Miami University and a St. Xavier High School Alumni class of 1979. In addition to his undergraduate degree Bill maintains an active Ohio license as a Certified Public Accountant and in 2001 earned the designation of Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Bill s early career included several years with two national public accounting firms as well as experience with Scripps Howard in Corporate Audit. He had nearly six years of experience with a leading national contingency fee recruiting firm specializing in accounting and finance professionals before returning to public accounting and becoming a partner in a 40 person local firm. Bill joined Greg Johnson as a partner in Johnson ReSource Group, LLC in July 2001 and currently specializes in recruiting and placing accounting and financial professionals ranging from senior level individual contributors to CFO s and Senior Vice Presidents. He has had considerable success with private and publicly held clients of all sizes as well as local and national public accounting firms and financial institutions ranging from community banks to some of the largest national bank holding companies.
Bill and his wife Beth and their four children (Julia, Kyle, Paul, and Ana) live in Pleasant Ridge where Bill is active as a member of Nativity Parish, the boys basketball coordinator for Nativity School, a Greater Cincinnati Knothole baseball coach, a girls and boys youth basketball coach, and a patrol parent for Boy Scout Troop 6. Bill is also a retired marathoner (orthopedist's orders) 11 Through May 2005, including the first 7 Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathons.
